A formula for solutions
In some way or another, we all want solutions to a part of our life that seems difficult. This is what I call my simple formula for solutions. How + I can = Solutions
Change and monitor your programing (your thoughts). Begin by asking yourself “how” and not in a way that will frustrate you, but rather in a way that induces creativity and curiosity so that you keep an open mind for fresh thoughts and ideas to enter.
He Laughed At My Dreams.
I remember when I had my 1st aha moment, I was watching TV with a guy I had been getting to know better. Inspired by a story on the news we were watching, I realized what I wanted to do with my life and excited to shared my thoughts or rather my new found dream… He laughed.
I know not everyone is going to see or understand my vision and that’s fine. But the moment you tolerate belittlement is the same moment you take strength from your possibilities.
That night I made two choices,
1. I had gotten to know enough of him.
2. I had a new journey to begin.
Don’t be afraid to take a stand on your dreams. Had I not, I would of never discovered and encounter life pleasantries and blessings I get to share & experience daily.
Who we surround ourselves with is vital to our growth. Had I let his laugh intimidate me, I would have probably been sharing a I wish I would of story vs. I did.

There are not if, and or but’s, only do, did and done!
Stop putting your dreams on hold because of the lack of funds, tools and hands at reach. Dreams are about discovery in seeing what you are capable of doing and what the world is capable of creating. You think the end result is the prize? Ha! Wait until you take a few steps forward, the real pot of gold is what lies within what you are doing.
What keeps you from your dreams will also keep you away from living life to the fullest. I always meet people that give me the if, ands or butts, of not having what it takes to make a dream a reality so then I ask them,
Is your dream written down?
Have you told anyone about it?
Have you done any research on it?
No, no, and no. Three of the easiest things to do, that requires no if, ands or butts.
Writing it down, gives you a focus point.
Speaking about it gives it a voice and makes it tangible.
Researching creates knowledge, solutions and ideas for the next steps.
So next time you dream, knock the if, and or but’s and make room for the do, did and done!

I lost my sock
While doing laundry and thinking about ways to keep the motivation alive for people, I couldn’t help but wonder and laugh how motivation and socks have a lot in common. Ever done laundry and realize afterwards that a sock has gone missing? Till this day, I’ll never know how that happens. Are you wondering where I’m going with this? It seems to be the same for motivation, ever feel motivated one day and it’s gone the next? Where did it go?
The question we should really ask ourselves is, “where did we go?” The answer is away. Too often, we steer away from the very thing that motivated us to begin with. Once we reach our high to make moves, we lose sight of repeating the same steps that brought us to be motivated in the 1st place.
“People often say that motivation doesn’t last. Well, neither does bathing – that’s why we recommend it daily.” Zig Ziglar
Staying motivated is dedication and once you make it a habit, the easier it becomes apart of your life style. It should be as mindless as brushing your teeth.
Helpful tips:
1. Make a reminder note to stay motivated and stick it where it will get notice. Not on your phone or on your computer, but SMACK IN YOUR FACE!
2. Doesn’t have to take long and you should have to dread it. Make it apart of your schedule and dedicate 5 minutes a day at the same time each day to read or listen to something that will encourage your motivation. Buy or borrow a self help book on motivation or my favorite, success. Listening to audio or a free pod cast will also work.
3. My favorite. AFFIRMATIONS! Yes, choose a short affirmation that describes your focus or intentions. Quotes, bible passages or note to self also works.
The key to motivation is doing it daily. So the next time you feel unmotivated, remember motivation starts and comes from you!

Don’t get caught up.
“Don’t get caught up in the thoughts of what seems impossible when you dream. The beauty of dreaming is allowing yourself the freedom to create the impossible”.

There is no room for doubt.
Doubt. There isn’t any room for you to think about anything else, so when any feelings of doubt, fear or trust issues you may have with yourself, your journey or your dreams become present… Learn to embrace the words “I breath in trust and I exhale trust”.
I had an experience today that lead me to understand the value of real trust. When you put in the work, I’m not talking half ass work, but real 100% of yourself work, you have to allow yourself the pleasure to let go and let in the same energy that created your dream and brought you to where you stand today to handle the rest. Other wise you allow yourself to become disconnected from your mission, your focus and best of all the voice that guides your steps… your heart.
“Keep calm, trust in yourself, in your steps & trust in the universe to handle the rest”
